A strategy proposing impactful, socially-produced meanwhile use projects for Erith.
DK-CM and The Decorators were commissioned to produce Erith Meanwhile, a strategy exploring impactful meanwhile use projects for Erith town centre. The project involved extensive 1:1 conversations with a diverse range of stakeholders across the town and built up a series of proposals for ensuring that the culture and character of Erith is consolidated and celebrated over the coming years of change.
The project updated and tested innovative engagement methods that DK-CM first explored back in 2007, in our project Porto Conversations, and directly led to the commissioning of Erith Lighthouse.
