'Porto Conversations' is a masterplan for 3.5km of urban waterfront in the city of Porto, Portugal. The project is a study in the use of intimate conversation, rather than survey or consultation, as the baseline data for an urban proposal. The resulting plan negotiates local desires and conflicts whilst engaging critically with the riverfront's new role as the city's tourist frontline.

This project ultimately led to David writing the Wallpaper* City Guide: Porto.
